Andhra Pradesh School Education Board has released the AP SSC Revised Exam Date sheet online. Now its time for Andhra Pradesh 10th students to start preparing for their exams. The AP SSC Exams which were to be held on 23rd March to 8th April were postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. According to the latest revised time table the AP SSC !0th exams are to be conducted from 10th July to 15th July 2020 said by the AP Education Minister.

The wait is over as the authorities have now released the date sheet so that students can start preparing for their exams. Students can download the SSC exam revised time table from www.bseap.org official website of the board and also available on manabadi.com.

Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said that the state government is eyeing to conduct 10th class final exams in July 2020 while addressing media at Ongole on Monday. Since then students who are enrolled for 10th exams were eagerly waiting for the revised schedule for their exams which was released on Thursday.

The Government had took a key decision on conducting examinations in six papers instead of eleven papers considering the delay happened due to COVID-19 pandemic. Usually all subjects except for second language have two papers which was modified and made into a single paper and conduct the exams in shortest possible time so that the students will not loose time in coming academic year, AP Educational Minister Suresh said. Exams will be conducted from 9:30 to 12:45 as per the revised schedule.

Steps to download AP 10th revised schedule :

  • Visit the official website bseap.org.
  • On the home page search for 10th/SSC time table 2020.
  • Click on the link.
  • You will be redirected to the exam time table pdf file.
  • Check the revised schedule and instructions from it.
  • Take a print out for future reference.

BSEAP SSC Revised Exam Pattern:

As per the new pattern the 10th class question paper contains four sections.

  1. Objective Type ( Answer must be written in one word, no choice).
  2. Very Short Answer Type (Answer must be written in not more than two sentences, no choice).
  3. Short Answers (Answer must be written in not more than four sentences, no choice).
  4. Essay Type Questions (Answer must be written in Eight to ten sentences, Internal choice).

BSEAP SSC Exam Rules and Regulations:

  • The actual exam time starts from 9:30 to 12:45, but an additional time of 15 mins would be given which can be used to recheck the answer paper after finishing the examinations.
  • Internal assessment marks has be cancelled and all the exams will be held for 100 marks.
  • There will be no separate bit paper issued. A single question paper with all the small, short, and long answer questions in it.
  • There will be given a booklet of 18 pages in which students have to answer in the given booklet. There will be no additional sheets will be provided.
  • AP Government has introduced a new system of water proof marks memo which will not be spoiled when in contact with water which will be continued from the years after.
  • The Question paper will be for 100 marks except for Hindi, all other subjects will have two papers that is paper 1 and paper 2. 
  • The student should score 35 marks (combined paper 1 and 2) to pass the exam. 

BSEAP has been asked to increase the exam centers and it will be conducted maintaining the social distancing guidelines and limited number of students will be allocated to each examination hall. The authorities have said that students will be made to sit at least one metre away to ensure social distancing as corona virus can spread through community and human transfer. Face mask is made mandatory at exam hall. The candidates can appear in the examination with their old hall tickets, however there will be option to download fresh admit card, the minister informed.

A total of 6,39,022 students have applied to appear for the SSC, class 10th examinations. The exams were scheduled to be held on March 23 but were further postponed to March 31 and was then cancelled further owing to lock down.
